Integrative Academic Perspective

Perhaps this is the first time you are encountering the word “noetic”. In Spanish, its phonetics might mistakenly suggest something “un-ethical,” but the two concepts are worlds apart.

The Noetic Sciences constitute an interdisciplinary field that studies the nature and scope of consciousness, the mind, and subjective experience. It bridges the rigor of the scientific method with the dynamics of inner knowledge.

Its integrative framework is grounded in principles of depth psychology, non-dogmatic spirituality, philosophy, and neuroscience.

Fundamental Premise: Consciousness is not a passive byproduct of matter, but an active agent in shaping reality.

This paradigm began to take root in the West through Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell. After experiencing a spontaneous state of expanded consciousness and profound interconnectedness during his return from the Moon in 1971, Mitchell founded IONS (Institute of Noetic Sciences) in the United States.

His goal was to provide a rigorous scientific framework for the study of human potential and the phenomena of the mind.

The process of ego training through 7 thresholds designed to transition from automatic operation to deliberate intervention: Understanding, Visibility, Disidentification, Integration, Transcendence, Monitoring, and Calibration.
The Challenge

In the absence of a pre-existing framework that allowed identity to be addressed in a homogeneous, systematic, and accessible manner, we developed the Core Identity Model. This framework, far from demonizing the Ego, recognizes it as a neuropsychophysiological identity system that manages our relationship with our environment and our way of dwelling in the world.

To explore and train this system autonomously, our approach unfolds across three fundamental pillars that nurture the process of self-knowledge:

  • Core Identity Metamorphosis

Based on this mapping, we propose an integrative training grounded in principles of depth psychology, philosophy, and neuroscience.

In synthesis, the developed Core Identity Model is a cartography of the ego that exposes the invisible forces structuring our automatic behaviors. We live submerged in a collective mental model that dictates the rules of the game and conditions us to function on autopilot. The Core Identity Model represents a unique opportunity to step out of that Matrix.

The invitation is clear: challenge yourself to know who you are, to examine the root of your beliefs, to question the status quo, to be authentic, and to follow your own light.
